Consultation on the first stage of making the Sheffield Plan

This will be the new formal plan for the whole of the city (except for the area in the Peak District National Park), and will set out how and where development will take place up to 2034.

The Council are asking you to comment on various options for growth that have been identified.  These are contained in  'Citywide Options for Growth to 2034'.  Your input at this stage will be very valuable in identifying the key challenges facing the city and the best strategies for Sheffield's development over the next 15-20 years.  SCC will collect all comments received on this document and will use these to inform the next stage of making the Plan for the city, including policies and site allocations.

The main period of consultation at this first stage runs from 11 November to 23 December 2015 (though SCC will accept comments up to 4 January 2016 if it is not possible for you to meet the deadline). You can view the Citywide Options for Growth document from 11 November and make comments on it at citizen space.

We very strongly encourage all comments to be made online through our dedicated website.   Using our website ensures that your comments are accurately linked to our document, and also allows us to much more easily assess your comments.
